The main draw of the 2017 Australian Open already announced. You can watch Australian Open 2017 Draw Live and also check Australian Open Live Streaming Channels. Rafael Nadal has won five consecutive Australian Opens and nine of the last 10, and he'll look to defend his title after a ashaky clay season. On the women's side, Maria Sharapova is looking to defend her title after defeating Simona Halep in the final last year.

The 2017 tennis season already started on Jan. 4, but the Australian Open is the unofficial beginning of the year. This first major starts on Jan. 16 at Melbourne Park, with the draw and seedings coming out three days earlier. Australian Open 2017 Predictions

This will be the 104th Australian Open, though it will have a feel similar to last year's with Serena Williams and Novak Djokovic all but certain to be the top seeds on the women's and men's side, respectively.

Despite Nadal's dominance at Roland Garros, Novak Djokovic is considered by many to be the favorite to win this year's tournament. Though the Serb has never won the Australian Open—the only Grand Slam missing from his trophy case—Djokovic will be the No. 1 seed and will be pegged by many to break through this year. Andy Murray also could be a threat after a strong clay season, though Murray has never made the Australian Open final.
